Shapes
A node of the Style graph, in the Shading group.
Light and shadow shapes cleaned like drawn ones: a shape of one band smaller than Smallest takes the band most of what is round it is in, then each pixel takes the band most pixels within Smooth of it are in, which takes tongues that wide and smooths borders. Only pixels of one part and one ramp count for each other, and a band needs most of what is round a pixel, so a spot of a colour of its own is left to Stray pixels. A pixel whose surface did not move and whose light is the same keeps the band it was given the frame before.
Takes: shading (shading), smallest (number), smooth (number) · Gives: shading
Settings
| Setting | What it does | Range | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Smallest | A shape of one band smaller than this many pixels takes the band round it. | 0 to 48 | 4 |
| Smooth | How far round each pixel its band is decided by most of its neighbours: 1 takes tongues one pixel wide, 2 two. | 0 to 4 | 1 |
Every setting is also an input: wire a value into it to change it per pixel. On the command line: pxr graph set game.pixor --which style --node shapes --set KEY=VALUE.

What it wires to
Its shading input takes a shading, which these give: Glint, Glow, Highlights, Light bands, Ramp shifts, Soften bands, Unband, World light.
What it gives, a shading, goes into: Glint, Glow, Hatch, Highlights, Ramp shifts, Shading colours, Soften bands, Unband, World light.
In the app, drag a wire from one of its dots: every dot the wire fits is ringed.
How it fits with the rest: the Style graph in the manual.
