What it wires to

Its a input takes a scalar, which these give: Add, Agreement, As a number, Blur, Cavity, Divide, Emissive, Fill light, Fraction, Larger, Length, Loop phase, and 20 more.

What it gives, a scalar, goes into: Lines, Shading, To palette, Add, Blur, By material, By part, Cavity, Divide, Edges, Fraction, Glint, and 18 more.

In the app, drag a wire from one of its dots: every dot the wire fits is ringed.

How it fits with the rest: the Style graph in the manual.
