A knight’s arming sword with a broad, diamond-section steel blade, a gold crossguard with a small red gem at its centre, a wrapped leather grip and a round gold pommel. It is a still model, drawn side-on at 64 pixels, ready for an inventory slot, a weapon rack or a character’s hand.
The blade is lofted from diamond-shaped rings that run from inside the guard to the point, which gives it a real ridge down the middle. The guard is a bevelled plate with flared ends. Part priority is set on the blade, so its outline wins wherever it meets the guard.
As a held asset the origin sits at the grip. Parent the model to a hand bone in Blender and it follows the arm through any attack, or render it alone for loot, shop and equipment screens. One view is all it needs as an item icon.
Make a cursed blade or a bronze one by changing the Steel or Gold material before rendering. The sword belongs with the round shield, which together arm a starter knight, and with the skeleton as something to swing at.
