A round wooden shield painted in alternating red and plain wood quarters, with an iron rim and a domed iron boss at the centre. A leather grip bar runs across the back. It is a still model rendered at 64 pixels from every side, so you get both the painted face and the back with its grip.
The dome is a lathe, and the painted quarters are face material slots on that one mesh rather than separate pieces. That keeps the surface smooth while letting each sector take its own colour. The boss and rim are added as their own rings for a clear silhouette.
The origin sits on the grip at the back, so the shield mounts straight onto a forearm or hand bone. Show the face when a character blocks, the back when they carry it, or use one side alone as an armour slot icon. It suits Norse settings, arena fighters and any RPG with a block button.
Repaint it for a clan or faction by changing the Red cloth material, or by reassigning which quarters take which colour. Put it with the sword for a classic pairing, or hang it on a wall beside the banner flag in a great hall.
