Overlay

A node of the Asset graph.

Takes: bottom, top · Gives: sheet

One sheet laid exactly over another, the way the engine stacks layers: the top's empty pixels show the bottom. Each layer can be turned off to see the other alone. The two must line up frame for frame — the same frames in the same places — or the export says which frame does not.

Every setting is also an input: wire a value into it to change it per frame or per file. On the command line: pxr graph set game.pixor --which asset --node overlay --set KEY=VALUE.

What it wires to

Its bottom input takes a sheet, which these give: Arrange, Place, Stack.

What it gives, a sheet, goes into: Place, Sheet, Stack, Text file.

In the app, drag a wire from one of its dots: every dot the wire fits is ringed.

How it fits with the rest: the Asset graph in the manual.
