Wave
A node of the Action graph, in the Generators group.
A channel that goes up and down: a sine, a square, a triangle or a saw.
Takes: channel (text), shape (text), period (channels), amplitude (channels), offset (channels), phase (channels) · Gives: channels
Settings
| Setting | What it does | Range | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Channel | Which number it makes: a place, a turn, a size, a light's strength... | X, Y, Z, Turn x, Turn y, Turn z, Size x, Size y, Size z, Part set, Intensity, Glow, Ramp shift, Frame, Weight, Colour cycle | y |
| Shape | The shape of one wave. | Sine, Square, Triangle, Saw | sine |
| Period | How long one wave lasts, in seconds. | 0.009999999776482582 to 600 | 1 |
| Amplitude | How far it goes each way. | -100000 to 100000 | 0.1 |
| Offset | What it goes up and down about. | -100000 to 100000 | 0 |
| Phase | Where in the wave it starts, 0 to 1. | 0 to 1 | 0 |
Every setting is also an input: wire a value into it to change it over time. On the command line: pxr graph set game.pixor --which action --node wave --set KEY=VALUE.
What it wires to
Its channel input takes a text, which these give: Words.
What it gives, channels, goes into: Apply to, Instances, Output, Blend, Lag, Limit, Maths, Merge, Rename, Repeat, Reverse, Select, and 27 more.
In the app, drag a wire from one of its dots: every dot the wire fits is ringed.
How it fits with the rest: the Action graph in the manual.
